Does the store have disabled access/outside seating/a doggy friendly area?
You can check the facilities of each store using our locations page here. Just search for the Coffee#1 you’d like to visit and take a look at the facilities icons.
Does the store have Wifi?
All Coffee#1 stores have free customer Wi-Fi via the cloud subject to the technology. If you cannot access the Wi-Fi please ask a team member for assistance.
Can I smoke outside Coffee#1?
Many of our stores have designated smoking areas in their outside spaces. If smoking is permitted we will provide ashtrays on the tables. Unfortunately some of our outside spaces are not appropriate for smoking. Please respect any no-smoking signs you do see in our outside areas.
Can you warm up my baby bottle/baby food for me?
We are unable to warm up baby bottles or baby food in our microwaves as they are incredibly powerful. Instead the team can offer to immerse the bottle in some hot water for you to warm it up. Please ask at the counter.

Where does your coffee come from?
Our house blend is sourced from Brazil, Ethiopia and Secondary Africa. Our Decaf is a Brazilian coffee. Our filter coffees come from Costa Rica and India, and our seasonal coffee changes periodically.
What method do you use to process your decaf coffee?
We use the direct method.
How many shots are in your coffees?
We use 2 shots in all of our coffees, both regular and large, excepting single espressos/macchiatos and piccolos.
Where can I find nutritional and allergen information about your menu?
How do I know which products are suitable for vegetarians/vegans?
Our food labels have symbols to note vegetarian or vegan friendly products. You can also look on our allergen spreadsheet here. Suitability for Vegetarians/Vegans is listed on the right hand side.
Why do you charge extra for dairy free milk alternatives?
Unfortunately these milks cost more for us to purchase and so the ingredient cost is factored in to the price of drinks made using them. Over time we were able to negotiate a good price on our soya milk as it became more popular and we began to buy more. Once we were able to, we removed the extra charge for soya. We hope that soon we will be able to do the same with our coconut and oat milks.

I'm 15 and I need a weekend job- can I apply for Coffee#1?
Unfortunately not. Our insurance only covers employees aged 16 and over, so you’ll need to wait until you’re at least 16 to apply.
I applied for a job recently but haven't heard back. What should I do?
We receive high volumes of applicants for many roles and as a result our managers usually contact only those candidates who have successfully made it through to the interview stage. If you have not heard back then it is likely that your application was not selected for the next stage. I really want to work for Coffee#1 but I can't see a suitable role in the store nearest me. What should I do?
We are always expanding so keep checking our careers page here for updates. You can also drop in to your local store and hand in a CV. Even if they have nothing now they can keep it on file for 3 months just in case something comes up!
Where can I buy a Coffee#1 Gift Card?
You can buy Gift Cards from all Coffee#1 stores.
Can I buy a gift card online?
Unfortunately not. At present Gift Cards are only available in store.

Yes! All of our stores have a retail section where you can buy Coffee#1 mugs and cups, coffee, syrups, and other goodies.

No, we’re a privately owned company and all of our stores are internally opened and managed.
