The importance of a silky, smooth swirl!
Coffee#1 wants to do the basics well. It’s the little touches that show you care – like sending hand-written thank you notes or making somebody breakfast in bed. That’s why we passionately train our people to present the swirl on every latte.
We’re passionate believers in our coffee looking as good as it tastes. We recently held the inaugural Coffee#1 Latte Art Championships, when the designs of many of our baristas were judged by some of the UK’s most esteemed coffee judges. The winning design, created by Liina, is below left, alongside some of our other baristas’ designs.
We recently returned from a trip to Costa Rica and Panama where we found out more about the journey of the coffee bean. The resulting video is below:
