Every year, Coffee#1 likes to sponsor a couple of events which will contribute to causes which we believe in.
Recently we sponsored Richard Spink and Raoul Surcouf to take on the Ice Warrior challenge – to visit the four North Poles! This event helps fly the flag of Cancer Research UK and SPARKS. It also carries out invaluable research – in association with NASA – into the measurement of Arctic Ice caps, highlighting the very serious problem of global warming.
In addition, we sponsored a team (you can just make out the Coffee#1 logo on the tops!) in the Costa Rica Coast to Coast Challenge. This is in conjunction with The Prince’s Trust. It involves hiking, kayaking, cycling and rafting for up to eight hours a day over seven consecutive days across Central America.
We also sponsored a cycling team in the Tour of Wessex.
